Late posting this one; it's really rather a pleasant view to wake up to.
That wraps up my trip to Three Choirs Vineyard.
I didn't take as many photos as I'd perhaps intended to, but I did enjoy the wine, so no complaints.

Cloudburst
I just made it to my room at Three Choirs Vineyard before we had quite the downpour.
It cleared up nicely afterwards though (after the jump)

Half-Cut First Cut!
I've been making my first pass at editing the video for my sister's wedding ceremony, so haven't been out this afternoon, but thought this might make for a vaguely interesting shot nonetheless.
I had expected this to be quite a difficult time, but it's actually brought back more happy memories than anything else so far.

Sneak Peek
Late posting this one, shot at my sister's wedding venue in between setting up.

2025-08-07: General Malaise
I'm a day late posting this backup photo, taken last month.
I've really had to dig back into the archives over the last few weeks, which is quite disappointing when the aim is to shoot something new every day.
On top of being knackered with work, I didn't feel at all well, particularly in the afternoon and evening.

Flagging, Pending Restorative Coffee
Taken from Ashbourne's delightfully cheekily named f'coffee while waiting for our drinks to arrive, after a video test session for my sister's upcoming wedding.

2025-07-09: Not A Dandelion.
Apparently it's Meadow Goatsbeard, which revels in the rather splendid Latin name of "Tragopogon pratensis L.". Sounds like a good insult to me.
In any case, it caught my eye, and I was able to contort myself into a position to get the low sun behind it through a gap in the hedge.

Late and a backup again.
This one was my submission for last week's 52Frames "Frame Within A Frame" challenge.
Not as good as I wanted, but it was all I was able to come up with in the time I had.

Late and a backup today.
I was out all afternoon and evening doing my soundman bit (The 2nd photo, after the jump, is a wonky snapshot from my phone).
The punters seemed to enjoy the show, so I'm calling that a win.

2025-06-24: Night Watch
Late posting this one from last night.
I don't recall having seen this old signal box lit up before, and I thought it made for an interesting photo.

2025-06-19: Twilight Track
Late posting again.
I went for a dusk walk with my parents after helping them with a little plumbing job.

2025-06-17: Union
Late posting this one.
I keep noticing this neon sign and its reflection when I walk down here. I've not been overly satisfied with my previous attempts to capture it, but I don't hate this one.

Mists Of Time
I went out to try and capture the aurora, because the forecast was good, but we are at a bad time of year for dark skies now, and it was quite cloudy.
I thought I'd come away with nothing, but looking at this one in the edit, I can sort of convince myself there's a hint of pink behind the clouds. Might be wishful thinking though!
Regardless, I quite liked the stars peeking through the clouds here. I think I've caught a few satellites or something too, there are several little streaks in the image that don't look quite right for planes.

Round The Bend
Late posting this one.
52Frames' challenge this week is "high ISO", so this one's at 12,800. I might revisit this later in the week and push the ISO envelope a bit further.

Fly Me To The Moon.
I've got a bit behind over the last couple of days. Back to work and it's all going at about 120mph again!
This one's a backup, shot Saturday on a rather pleasant evening walk.

Decisions, Decisions
This one's my submission for this week's 52Frames "Luxury" challenge.
I struggled with this challenge a bit, and couldn't come up with an idea I liked. I eventually pulled this together this evening in the run up to the deadline, and I don't mind it, which I think is about as good as I'm going to manage to get on this one!
I'd initially gone for a shot of just the wine rack, with very shallow depth of field, and the focus on the bottle tops, but that really felt like something was missing.
I eventually put the glass in the foreground, and the shot immediately had a story to it and made more sense.
I think it would be interesting to recreate this shot in a real wine cellar with a bit more distance between the glass and the bottles.
