A fascinating, otherworldly installation. Well worth a wander round, I'd say, I really enjoyed it.

A bit of a busy evening tonight helping a friend with some CAD and 3D printing - this one's a 23:53 last ditch effort to capture something half-presentable.
Turns out it's quite tricky to follow the motion of a 3D printer while keeping in focus (ish)!

A few minor points notwithstanding, I'm very pleased with this printer.

I'll take the EC on this one too, as I used my 35mm prime lens.

I'm sure the gardeners don't like it, but I was quite happy to have another nice day after the last couple of very wet days.
I went for a quick walk with my friend and her dog this evening, and was quite taken with this scene.

The first poppy I've shot this year.
This one's a backup photo, because I'm a silly person who has spent most of the weekend so far messing with work related programming, because an idea got stuck in my head.
On the upside, my messing around was moderately successful, and my circuit breaker analyser software is further improved, and it should be easier to extend now.

52Frames' challenge this week is "high ISO", so this one's at 12,800. I might revisit this later in the week and push the ISO envelope a bit further.

Both the ground and my camera, it seems.
My R5 has developed a taste for throwing errors in the last couple of days. I'll have to keep a close eye on it over the next few days - If it keeps doing this, it'll get to enjoy the pointy end of a warranty claim, as it's less than 6 months since I bought it.
I'll be gutted if there is something major wrong with it, partly because it was eye-wateringly expensive, but mostly because I love shooting with it.

Reflect Quietly

I went to Rudyard Lake today for the first time. I'd never heard of it until my friend suggested it.
Very nice place, I'm sure I'll go back. Lots of boats on the lake, but very little engine noise, almost all of them seem to be either sail or electric powered.

This one's my 52 Frames submission for this week's "Water" challenge.
