I finally got round to putting the drone up again this evening.
Another 37 minutes in the log, and I don't think the photo is too bad either!

All Is Aglow
I took a (surprisingly chilly) outing to the river this evening, and took the opportunity to sling the drone up for a few minutes. I was quite pleased with this one.
I thought a bit of variety was in order after all the flowers and trees I've inflicted on you recently.

Carillon Under The Microscope
I've taken this photo on three separate occasions so far. I think I like the light on this one the best.
I enjoy the top-down shots that are possible with a drone; to me, they are a style that is almost uniquely limited to aerial photography, especially at this scale - flatlay images of the real world!

Not So Fast
A backup photo today, shot last night.
It's been another mad day today!

Light Night, Take Flight
It was a lovely evening after I finished work today, so I went out for a drive and put the drone up for a bit.
I think this is the first drone photo I've posted this year.

A pattern of lateness
I need to smarten up my act. I have been late posting a lot recently, as well as using quite a few backup images...
This one was taken with the drone on the same night as "Top Down".

Top down
I took the drone out for a fly this evening, for the first time in several months. I quite enjoyed it.
I do rather like a dead-straight down shot from the drone.
I think I find it such an unusual perspective that you can't really ever get with a normal camera, even from a high ridge.

Twins / Blue Mist / Long Shadows
I went for a wander in the woods today.
It was rather pleasant, and the bluebells were looking great.
A couple more after the jump.

Droning On / One Way or Another
I put the drone up this evening, after a rather long hiatus.
It evidently still works, and it would appear that I can still fly it.
Lightroom has really worked wonders on the first picture - the JPEG straight out of the drone was not much more than points of light in a black frame. The DNG file evidently held secrets to be revealed though!
Second shot and the straight JPEG after the jump...

Double dose
Couldn't decide which one of these to post today, so for the first time ever, two pictures it is.
I liked the tree, but it's so close to monochrome, and after yesterday's mono picture, I thought I'd liven it up with a bit of colour, coincidentally also the first drone shot that I've posted.
