Basil In Bloom

I was just about to leave the house when I spotted these flowers on my basil plant, and temporarily shelved my plans to photograph them.
This basil plant has lasted remarkably well - every time I've bought one of these supermarket living herb plants in the past, it's snuffed it within a couple of weeks, but I've had this one for several months so far without killing it!
This is a stack of 9 shots taken with Helicon Remote, and stacked in Helicon Focus.

Frostbitten

My Fuchsia did not enjoy the snow we had last week. It's looking quite sorry for itself now.

This is an 8-shot stack taken with Helicon Remote controlling the focus of the EF100mm f/2.8L IS Macro, and stacked in Helicon Focus.
It's the first time I've tried this technique with this lens - it works much better on this ultrasonic focusing lens than it did on the older style motor-driven Sigma 105mm f/2.8 Macro and EF50mm f/3.5 Compact Macro lenses.

Bean!

My WeMacro motorised focus rail arrived today. First impressions are really good, and it definitely makes it easier to get the most out the MP-E65 macro lens.
2x magnification, 48 shots stacked with Helicon Focus.
