A Panasonic AG-A850 edit controller. For the uninitiated, it's the unit that accurately controls 2 to 5 decks for editing video tape-to-tape.
You tell this machine where to start and stop each tape, then hit the big red button and it does the clever stuff automatically.
All Stop does what it says on the tin - stops all connected decks.
This unit doesn't see a huge amount of use now, as it's largely been superseded by computer based edit systems, but it's still useful to have proper controls on the desk when reviewing tapes.
