what are these? I'm not sure I'd want to be surrounded by a swarm of them!
ReplyDeleteI think they're gnats, but I'm not totally sure.
ReplyDeleteFortunately, I wasn't surrounded by them, they were in a big cloud above a hedge. I got low and waited for the breeze to waft them over me and fired away...
It's fascinating, they can hold their position to within a few feet even with a fairly strong breeze blasting them off course.
