03-04-09: Polarised Hub
The hub of a CD jewel case lit by polarised light from an LCD monitor. A polariser filter enhances the effect, and allows you to vary the colour and pattern as you rotate it.
The colours are caused by internal stresses in the plastic, caused by the injection moulding process.
